Mom2Ashli, thanks for thinking of us. Hope the weather isn't too bad for your walk. I'm proud that my name will be on your shirt! I'll be thinking of you.

My mom was just diagnosed last week. Can you add my name to it?

Thanks, Mom2Ashli.

I will be there with you in spirit.

Hope the weather clears.

No thanks are needed.
If you can go thru Chemo and/or Radiation than I can walk in the rain with blisters. Nothing can compare the two.

After I started the awareness thread several months ago, I have met some amazing women who have strength beyond belief. You are my inspiration!

The top five teams in the Tampa Bay walk have raised over $600,000 for Research and awareness. My little team of 4 raised $9,200.00. There are 2800 Walkers signed up at this time.

I would walk 1000 miles if I could make all of this go away. I pray everyday that my DD never has to deal with this in her live time. And my heart goes out to you and your families. :grouphug:

If time permits I will try and post a picture of the finished shirt. If not I will do it after the walk.

Mom2Ashli I would love to be added to your shirt. I too am from the Tampa Bay area now and hope to do the walk next year. I just moved and it was too much at once, finishing rad. moving etc..

I hope it stays cool. The breeze that came through yesterday was wonderful.

I know I had asked this before, but I figured I'd try again. I now have to start looking for Drs in this area and would rather try someone by word of mouth than blindly picking. If anyone knows of any great Doc in the Tampa area, please let me know. You can PM me if you prefer. Now that I'm pretty much settled, I need to find new docs to do my follow ups. That was one of the things that made me nervous about moving. I still plan to see my docs in NJ once a year, but I'm now back on the every 6 mo. thing since the recur.

TIA for any info.

Kelly - You are added. :grouphug:
Keep an eye out for 2800 walkers walking thru the city.
I hear there was an article in the St. Petersburg Times today.

Can I be on it?? :teeth:

Of course you can. I couldn't believe your name was not on it from before.
But I don't want to put anyones name on it without permission.
:grouphug:

Mom2Ashli you better either have a big shirt or use small print!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Our numbers are growing.

At this rate you may have to resort to the Greek alphabet like hurricane names will after one more storm this season.

I will figure something out. Even if I have to print it on a piece of paper and attach it to my shirt that way.

Thanks, Mom! ;) :rotfl:

This was the Dis Breast Cancer Survivors Support Group luminary bag I made for my Relay for Life. It had all our names on it at the time, which was June. It was so nice, I really felt like everyone here was with me in spirit that night. :goodvibes
