The following is from one of our fearless leaders:

We are going to be converting all of the old threads to an archive where they should be available forever. While that is going on there are going to be some issues. It takes a LONG time to convert the threads. There will be a noticable degredation in board performance during that time. In order to keep performance reasonable I am going to have to take several steps to reduce board loads.
1. there will be no search whatsoever
2. the memberlist will not be available
3.. the one that is really going to stink! the forum jump on the bottom of each page will be unavailable. You will need to use your back button

These changes are temporary and will be changed back as soon as I can get these archives done, I am hoping a week to two weeks. I will post updates if it is going to be longer.
The prize at the end is that board performance should be improved.

Thanks for the info, Sarangel. I kept thinking I was temporarily struck blind and just not seeing the "forum jump" box.
