Do you have any ideas on how to get dirt stains out of a colored shirt using common things that I would have around my house? It's BAD! Thanks!

white vinigar and baking soda. You can soak the shirt in white vinigar, but it may discolor the whole shirt. It cannot be worse than it is now. Good Luck!

Grass stains, Clear Karo Syrup breaks the enzyne down.
Dirt, I use Simple Green on it. DS had white baseball pants, and this did the job. DD just sat on the front steps where we had been repotting plants and got her new white shorts dirt embedded. They are pure white again.

I use the simple green on all baby stains too, Koolaid, grape juice etc.

All laundry especially in the summer I use Borax, it keeps that musty smell abay, and whites soooo white.
Always used that as my diaper pail soak.

I swear by BIZ the powder (not the liquid) not sure why but the liquid doesn't seem to work as well. I soak overnight and then wash regular. This has gotten out even old stains that have been dried.:cool1:
