This day is subtitled: Thank heavens for little buggies.
Today again we got up bright and early for the 7am breakfast from which we got another picnic for lunchtime. Then straight into the queue for the characters..I think we were first in line today.
Yesterday we had seen Pooh Bear signing autographs but by the time we saw him the queue was ginormous! So that was our first goal once we got to the park, we got there just in time to be first in the queue- we were getting quite good at this queueing business!! Arran was even dressed to match Pooh.
Yesterday we had also been walking past Woodies Roundup just as the characters were finished so off to Frontierland we went stopping for our lunch outside the cowboy barbeque. We both thought that the Roundup was really well managed and we progressed quickly through the characters with as little dampness as possible (it was raining again)
Mickey and Minnie were having a good time between photos!
By chance we spotted the Prospector and thought the setup was really cute with Bullseye etc.
I am pretty sure we hit some of the old reliable rides ie Lazer Blast and Small World today too- memory isnt what it used to be!!
After two and a half days in the Park we decided to spend the afternoon in the Studios. As we were exploring this park we spotted Sully from Monsters Inc but he was just finished up, that was a little disappointing but we took some photos at Boo's door anyway. Arran was most impressed with these "big fella's"
It seems like we spent a couple of hours mindlessly chasing characters and waiting in queues but it was Buzz Lightyears turn next. It was also a chance to wait out of the rain for a while under the handy canopy.
Then it was time for the incessantly happy, peppy show- Playhouse Disney. It was good enough for what it was I suppose but the boy enjoyed it.
We came out to another missed photo opportunity. Jafar was just finishing up his segment and following his evil nature he wouldn't turn around
Arran really wanted to have a go on the Cars ride so we all found out how dizzying that can be. Gers weak stomach was a little churned up after it. But it soon settled as we went on the Studio tram tour which was very good.
By this time we were all starving so it was time to make tracks to Cafe Mickey for dinner. I am the worlds worst food reviewer because I can never remember what I eat just that it was GOOD and had nice big portions.
For anyone that might be thinking that Arrans virus seemed to have settled down- WRONG!!! Unfortunately as we were starting to eat he got sick a little. I thought that it was because he had choked- he was eating something and it went down the wrong way. I am sure ye are tired of seeing pics of Arran with various characters so I will only put up two because I especially love them.
We were having a hard time getting some of the characters to our table because we were sitting beside a family whose little girl was jumping into other peoples photos, spending all her time running to the characters, pulling tails, grabbing legs etc so understandably they didnt want to go over nearer. But I said something to the CM as Tigger diverted away from us and as we were walking back to the table Tigger bounced along behind us and had a lovely interaction with Arran. We saw Mickey, Captain Hook, Guipetto, Baloo and Goofy.
After a long day back to the hotel we went for an earlyish night.
Would Arran be better tomorrow??
Would we catch the characters we had missed??
