Directions...

Hi only got 4 sleeps and panicking like crazy to get everything done. I remember seeing a while ago someone posted directions from MCO to disney, these were almost step by step directions . I can't find them again can anyone help?? We are staying at OKW. Have never been to MCO before always Sanford and not taking sat nav. Any help would be appreciated

thanks wayne, is the s access road signposted from mco when you leave, does it stand for SOUTH access rd?

Yes well signed, if you miss the turning just keep going around Airport Blvd untill you see South Access Road, down there about 1.5miles turn right onto SR 417 thru 2 tolls about $1 or $1.25 each off at South Idrive/536 turning and that runs straight into Epcot Centre drive into Disney.

Just to add, the 417 is a very easy drive once you get on it. If you follow the signs for Downtown Disney Resort area it should bring you out at the OKW 'Watch Tower' if you're familiar with that - then you're home-free

Just had a look Jeanette, not sure myself, seems a lot of info for an easy journey. Maybe for someone that has no knowledge of the airport or the area it might help but I got lost in the info on it.

I would get there just by being told South Access rd, right onto SR 417 to Exit 6, straight on into Disney but I prefer less detail, I guess its like some people can follow a map others can't.

this is exactly what we do, but for 1st timers the more info the better i think.

To make it even easier click print at the right hand side then at the top of the page that pops up click street view.
It then gives you pictures of each step similar to the 192-kissimme site.

I have to travel into Glasgow and Edinburgh city centers quite a lot and find the pics invaluble if the sat nav throws a wobbly.

We tried to come out of the south exit this year - did so eventually but looped right round the top of the airport. When we were going back I noticed a lot of road works on the south exit. I wonder if we took a wrong turn or two or was it a diversion?
