Please can somebody give me directions, although we have been a few times before, this is just to refresh my memory.

Thanks

Just follow highway 192 East for about 8 miles. Wal-mart will be on your right.

The quickest way to 192 will depend on which resort you're staying at. The map you get at checkin will show 192 on it where it goes by WDW.

192 has mile markers, it's right after mile marker 14, next to Medieval Times. You may want to consider the new Winn Dixie on 535, turn left from Hotel Resorts Blvd (Crossroads would be straight ahead), it's about a mile on the right. There is also a new Publix in the Premium Outlet center.

I posted this on another thread, but will share here too, in case it was misssed:

I can tell you that I spent some time in that Wal-Mart on 192 last week in getting son's apartment supplied while he is on the College Program. I have never seen so many people in my life, busier than Main Street at Magic Kingdom after the parade. Check-out lines were like waiting for a Mickey ice cream bar. I won't be going back there again.

I understand there is another Wal-Mart on Sand Lake Road.

And, there is a brand new SuperTarget located at the Conroy Blvd. exit, near the BJ's. That store is only 3-months old, spotlessly clean and it was desserted the day that I was in there. No wait for the check-out line whatsover.

Does SuperTarget have grocery items??? I only have a Target near me and they don't have grocery items................(only snacks)

According to BillPA's link, this is the Super Walmart we always use:

Wal-Mart Supercenter Store #2881
1471 East Osceola Parkway
Kissimmee, FL 34744
8-10 miles

We always stop by on the way to WDW, when driving from Miami after getting off the FL Turnpike at the Osceola Parkway exit. It is exactly at the intersection of the 2.

This store is clean, not crowded and easy to get to. I think it's faster to drive to this store than to the one on 192 because there's less traffic and less lights - but this is because the Parkway is a TOLL ROAD. I forget how much the tolls are though.

I agree that the one on 192 is a nightmare. Personally, I would rather pay highway prices at Goodings than shop there again.

I will have to check out the new Target next trip.

Btw, where's the nearest Costco from OKW? :)

Yes, this one had fruit, vegetables, meat, bread, etc. The store is huge. It was immaculate and it appears that it just has not been "discovered" yet.

We have stopped at Super Target the last couple of trips. I think it is exit 11 off 417. Large, spotless, no lines.
