Could someone give me driving directions from the Orlando Airport(my husband always takes the Bee Line, #417) to a Walmart on our way to the Polynesian at WDW. Any Walmart is fine on the way to the Polynesian. Please, give detailed directions.
Thank-You,
PammyPoppins

You could always go to WalMarts site, find locations in the zip code and mapquest from there :thumbsup2

Just use the direction in mapquest. Simply enter "MCO" for the starting locations then enter this location Walmart location:

3250 Vineland Rd

1. Start out going SOUTH on AIRPORT BLVD. 0.9 mi

2. Take the ramp toward SOUTH EXIT/SR-417-TOLL. 0.3 mi

3. Stay STRAIGHT to go onto S ACCESS RD. 3.3 mi

4. Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto BOGGY CREEK RD. 0.6 mi

5. Take the SR-417-TOLL S ramp toward I-4 S/TAMPA/DISNEY WORLD. 0.5 mi

6. Merge onto FL-417 TOLL S/CENTRAL FLORIDA GREENEWAY (Portions toll). 10.3 mi

7. Take the INTERNATIONAL DR exit, EXIT 6, toward SR-536/SR-535/I-4 E. 0.6 mi

8. Merge onto WORLD CENTER DR/FL-536 W toward SR-536/SR-535/I-4/EPCOT/DOWNTOWN DISNEY. 0.7 mi

9. Turn SHARP LEFT onto FL-535 S/S APOPKA VINELAND RD/KISSIMMEE-VINELAND RD/APOPKA VINELAND RD/APOPKA VINELAND RD S. Continue to follow FL-535 S. 1.1 mi

10. 3250 VINELAND RD is on the RIGHT.

When you leave if you drive towards the front of the store in the parking lot and then turn left out of the parking lot you can hop on Osceola Blvd (.75 toll) and head to disney property without having to fight the traffic at the 535/536 intersection.

Thank-You,

If it doesn't have to be walmart, there is a very nice supertarget right off the 417 on the way from MCO to WDW on S Orange Blossom Trail.
Go to www.allearsnet.com
Type "directions" in the search functions
Choose your airport and resort, great directions including a grocery stop.

OP
SuperTarget has everything, including beer and wine.
It is extremely easy on and of the highway (like 2 mins or less).

There is a much simpler way to get to that same Walmart. It's a teensy bit longer but it avoids the traffic around International and World Drive, which IMO is kind of an easy place to get turned around and confused.

To use the more straightforward route, take the south exit out of the Airport and get on 417 headed for WDW, as the PP said. (Also, note that 417 is the Greenway, not the Beeline/Beachline). However, do NOT get off at International Drive. Keep going a little further, and ...

Get off on Osceola Parkway, then turn LEFT at the bottom of the ramp (not right as you would to go to WDW, you are now going away from WDW on Osceola). Continue to the Poinciana Exit on Osceola (a bit less than a mile), then at that bottom of that ramp turn left on Poinciana and drive under Osceola. The Walmart is right there on the corner on your left.

To go to WDW from there, go back the way you came into the Walmart (on Poinciana), then get back on Osceola headed back toward WDW, then just follow the signs onto the property.

I am staying in Lake Buena Vista (Palm Parkway) is there a SuperTarget or WalMart near by? I don't want to be tempted to go to Goodings since it sounds like the prices there are expensive.
