So it's a joke among my friends how easily and frequently I get lost.

I have always stayed at RPR except the very first visit. I'm good with walking to city walk or taking the water taxis. Then, I have always gone toward IOA directly to Hogsmeade. That said, I have walked all over both parks.

BUT, on my next trip, again staying at RPR, what is the best way to get to DA from city walk? Left to me, I would eventually get there, but would most likely take the long way!

Diagon Alley is where Jaws used to be. So go past IOA to Universal Studios and either go right towards Men in Black or left towards Mummy. Then just keep on going.

If you take the boat, get off it and go left through the Universal arches and then go either left or right until you hit it.

I don't think you can really go too far the long way. All routes are pretty much the same.

if you take the water taxi from RPH, once you get off the taxi, turn to the left at the walkway exit.

walk up the ramp towards the globe.

at the top of that ramp, you will see the Studios straight ahead.

do you also need directions to walk to DA once you are in the Studios?

For some reason I thought US entrance was over to the right of HR cafe.

I think I'm ok getting to DA. There's been enough posts about going towards MIB and over by Richters.

We'll be there for 3.5 days so all will be good. I just like getting my head around things ahead of time.

It really helps to take a look at google maps. Zoom in and look around or use the walking feature.

The US entrance is past the Hard Rock Cafe if you are coming from IOA. It goes IOA, NBA City, Hard Rock Cafe, Universal Studios.

I've seen the aerial maps, but didn't know there was a walking view!
