I've never even heard of Lakeland field...what options are there to rent a car? The airfare is carzy cheap and it's fare lower than the budget that I set for us. Also, how far away is to from WDW?

If I didn't have a oneway from MHT to MCO for March 2012 .... I would give this a try. There has been a few threads on directair (listed below) and yes you can rent a car there .... this airport outs you in a similar situation to Sanford, just on the opposite side of WDW.

They had 50 off the other week. They are getting more car rentalcagencies set up. It is about 1hour from wdw.
