Creating a discussion thread for the Fall Sales incentives, since we had so much fun with the last one! Please check my math!

On top of the cash incentives, Disney is paying Closing Costs on certain direct purchases. I will add more details when they become clear.

for the URLs below, I wouldn't take the lack of a link as any indication, there very well may be military incentives at additional resorts; if anyone comes across any other URLs, I can add them ...

happy informed shopping! 🍷

Thanks to @sethschroeder and @i<3riviera for helping ID the discounts and @SomePixiedust and @Sandisw for helping ID the closing cost incentives!

Just got off the phone with my guide. Bought new member 150 at Riviera with the last incentives, which was 15.00 off per point plus 550.00 off for military discount. The new incentive he said was 8.00 off per point with help towards closing, so he recommended I not change. He also said they were pretty much lower across the Board for current and new members regardless of points. Feel decent about purchase and if this is an indication, looks like they are not that desperate to sell Riviera.

Curious to hear more details about help towards closing - if anyone hears more let me know!

looks like they are not that desperate to sell Riviera.
Some think that possibly they are actually okay with RIV taking a little while longer and people buying sold out resorts. You don't have the ticking clock of Reflections coming up for sale to contend with any longer and Disneyland Hotel while popular is likely not the same market as WDW resorts.

@CastAStone just as a heads up not sure if you want to post this in the 2nd post but there are no incentives on sold out resorts per the existing member pricing

In addition current pricing for all resorts is as follows:
AKV: $186
AUL: $195
BCV: $235
BLT: $235
BRV: $186
BWV: $200
CCV: $220
HHI: $135
OKW: $165
POLY: $245
SSR: $165
RIV: $195
VBR: $120
VGF: $255
VGC: Unlisted (no room on wait list likely still)

Those look like the prices from the March price increase. Thanks.

EDITED to remove content to avoid confusion. I had originally mistaken my closing fees. All is well. The online tool does *not* show discounted closing but full closing that may be covered by DVD.

I just cannot get over that BLT & BCV are the same price.
And VGC still has no room on the waitlist. I keep inquiring. :) It's $285 direct, though.

He told me they would cover closing costs, mine were $775, so it still didn't work out favorably for my contract. Also, not sure if military discount and cast member discounts are still in effect

So if they cover closing I was only getting $200 off AKV so closing costs would be more - guess I better check on that! Of course then it would be like $600 - $200 - so not much more but still.

Great comparison! Definitely a reduced incentive for the Fall. I'm wondering what other news we will be hearing about today or in the near future. Looks like they are launching a new giveaway as well... https://magicseekersweeps.com/

The lead here may be that the sweepstakes prize, if going Riviera, includes ***park hopper tickets.***

Contest ends 11.17 and winner is selected 11.18, and winner must give 60 days notice. Therefore we may have hopping on or before January 7, 2021?

Ya @Sandisw said in another thread they think park hopping will start at the beginning of the year.
You guys picked that apart more than my brain did this morning... I need more coffee.
Would be great if we see hopping resume! I wonder what it will look like with Park Pass? Basically, if you leave your first park you can see if there is availability for you to go to another? Josh Demaro I believe mentioned he saw Park Pass sticking around past the pandemic in some way.
