Hi,
It looks like my friend and I will definately be going to DLP from friday the 6th to monday the 9th March next year, and I get to plan and book it all.
I have been looking at booking the indirect trains from Ebbsfleet, as my friend doesn't want to drive into London and park for the weekend. Eurostar said that Ebbsfleet was the best option. I was about to book today when I thought I would just check the Ashford route prices.
The prices are now about the same, there is a £6 total difference.
My question is this, will the fact that the direct train get us to DLP just after 1pm and the indirect get us there just before midday, make any difference on a friday? Is it a real hassle to change trains when going via Lille?
I think we get about an extra hour on the last day if we go the direct train route, but either way we are there until at least 7pm.
Thanks for any help
