Is there a direct bus from the parks to DTD, i know there isn't one from DTD to the parks

If my DD had seen your question before me, she would jump and say "NO there is not a bus from the parks to DTD"

DD & her friend went two weeks ago and stayed offsite at her friend's house. I suggested they park at DTD and catch a bus to TTC to go to the parks, instead of paying for parking. They could not find a bus to TTC and so decided to go to a resort and go from there to a park. They picked the bus for Old Key West. (first mistake - should have picked a resort they knew). They were the only ones on the bus and did not know there was more than one stop. When they finally got off the bus, they felt like they had circled the resort a couple times. They got the bus to Epcot and got there. Going back to DTD they decided to get on a bus for a resort they knew - Pop Century. (better choose) They get there and DD should know by now that when you really want a bus to come, it's going to take longer. They said they saw 4 buses for MK come & go before one came for DTD. Needless to say, they weren't happy with my suggestion. I told them, that was all it was, they did not have to use it.

Can from any park to any resort, the first time that bus stops at at any resort bus stop, get off. Then wait for bus to DTD if you get off at OKW you can take ferry to DTD if it is leaving with in 10 minutes. :goodvibes :wizard: :wave2:

Better yet, don't park at DTD to avoid the parking fee. Pay to park at the park you want to go to. Or stay on the property and get a free parking pass.

The OP's question wasn't about that.

To answer the OP's question, (as stated above) no... there is no bus from the parks to DTD. You have to go to DTD from the resorts. But, if you take a bus to OKW, POFQ, POR, or SS those have boats to DTD.

Yup, we know that wasn't the question but it was the appropriate answer. I will never understand why, when someone is paying thousands of dollars to go to WDW they worry about $8.00 to park the car ALL DAY LONG.

Just the idea that you can get to it in quick order is worth the money.

Okay, the problem with taking the ferry from OKW to DTD if it leaves within ten minutes of your arrival at OKW is you have to know something about the resort - such as where to get off the bus. There are two stops from which this is convenient, one from which it's possible, and one, well, fahgeddaboudit.

Better to, as others have stated, pay to park AT the parks or to stay onsite and either park free at the parks or use Disney transportation from your Resort.
