dinsey bus system to parks

new at this so please can someone explain to me. When the bus picks you up at your resort do they take you directly to the park or do they take you to the TTC and then you go from there to the park via another means of transportation? I am confused, I read somewhere if you want to be at the parks early before opening not to use the bus transportaion but this doesn't seem to make sense if that were the case no one would use it?

Buses take you directly from your Disney resort to the Magic Kingdom and to the other theme parks.

No need to take the monorail or ferry (unless you want to joyride, best done by coming out during the middle of the day).

The buses are great for getting to the theme park for early morning extra magic hour, starting about an hour before that too. The only downside is that there are a finite number of buses and not everyone can hop on a bus and arrive five minutes, no more, no less, before park opening. (Likewise not everyone down there for Thanksgiving can get a Sunday evening flight back home.)

No, the bus will take you directly to the parks' entrances. Well, if you are taking a boat or a monorail, then you get dropped off at the TTC (sometimes...depends on which resort and which park you're talking about). But since you are talking about buses, then you can be sure that you will get dropped off at the park entrance.

I don't know why you would need to drive yourself if you plan on getting to a park at opening. The buses do run very early.

Well, if you are taking a boat or a monorail, then you get dropped off at the TTC (sometimes...depends on which resort and which park you're talking about).

To be more specific:
Disney RESORT transportation (except for Shades of Green Resort)
does not drop you at TTC.

If you take a bus coming directly from another PARK (MGM, DAK) or monorail from Epcot, that is heading for MK... they will drop you at TTC, but that's not the case if you are coming from a WDW resort (except Shades of Green.)
