Amazingly enough, this was one of the best rides overall throughout my stay in Florida.

It was brilliant!

It's not a rollercoaster, but more of a bumpy ride in the back of a sort of transit van that takes you back millions of years ago.

My wife didn't go on it again mind you! - It freaked her out! - But, I made sure I did because it was definitly worth a second attempt.

Yeah..its fun and definately throws you around.

I LOVE Dinosaur! I actually am looking forward to it this trip----DH may want to kill me after some of the rides I am going to drag him on (not a ride junkie). CAN'T WAIT!!

I can really admire the Imagineering that went into it, even if it's not my favorite ride. I'm not usually a ride wimp, but this one does freak me out. We've got a great ride photo with all 3 boys (ages 8, 10 and 13) and me with our hands over our eyes, and DH is all smiles.

YAY DH!

I LOVE this ride, DW hates it.

Back seat right corner is just the best seat on the ride.

I LOVED it!!!! It reminded me very much Disneyland's Indiana Jones ride!!! I hope that DW will change the "live action" show into the Indie ride! It's a blast!! Dinosaur was fun and a thrill, if a little bit scary! I don't think my munchkins will like it...although I saw LOTS of young kids going on it and just loving it!! It's a definitely a MUST for DH and me!!!

I agree, a fun ride. That is the only ride photo we bought while we were there, because it had the entire family (and some strangers) in it.

This is one of my favorite rides. She won't go on any "roller coasters" or "scary" rides (her terms) but she loves this one.

This one of the other hand scares the creepers out of me !! I will ride anything - any and all roller coasters. I WILL NOT ride this one. I guess screaming dinosaurs in the pitch black just aren't my thing.

My DS 9 also loves this ride. I have no idea why it freaks me out so much !

We have a great pic from Dinosaur - all of us looking terrified at the T Rex :teeth:

Then next time we rode, DH and FIL both pulled a face for the picture, it wasn't planned and they look identical, it was priceless!

I love that ride though - it's one of my "must do's" at WDW!!

Our favorite ride. We've been on it several times, and when we were there last May they put us in the front row the right hand side. DH wants to sit on the outside, so I climb in. When we got to the dinosaur where they take the picture my dh starts leaning on me. Sure enough, after all the times we've ridden it, dh got freaked by the dino leaning down at him!! I laughed all day about it.

It's at Animal Kingdom, kinda near Primeval Whirl. It's quite a way away from Kali Rapids/Kilimanjaro Safaris so tends not to be too busy first thing in the morning!! :goodvibes

My husband and I love it!!! I hope my kids like it as much as we do, we'll find out soon.

I loved Dinosaur, too. Ds was a little scared but wanted to ride it anyway. He loved it. I bought him a toy dinosaur after the ride for being so brave. When I ask him which ride he can't wait to go on again he always says Dinosaur. He's also sure to mention that he wants another toy dinosaur after he rides it again.

I had such a nightmare over this ride the first time that we went that I fell out of the bed at the hotel and hit my ear on the nightstand and bruised all the side of my ear and inside by the cartilidge. I could not sleep on that side for weeks! My DH insisted that I do it even though he knew I was "afraid" of things like that. Til this day I cringe when I hear about that ride and will not be going on it ever again :( Of course this has turned into one of our funniest stories to tell others about that trip but it surely wasn't funny at the time!

NOPe...My son & I wont be back on it ,lol....omg, if you say DINSOAUR ride, HE SAYs , NO WAY@@@@ ( hes 7) too scary for us

Dinosaur ride is supposed to be similar to the Indie ride at Disneyland; however, the Indie ride is so much better. It is more creative. Dinosaur is so dark and loud. I really didn't like it.

It's a good right. It can be scary...LOUD dino growls and roars in the dark. I can see how it would scare little kids. But yes, it's a fun ride and I appreciate the scare tactics.
