Dinosaur Fastpasses?

I'm thinking of going to AK right after checking into my hotel, at around 4:30 pm or so, and wanted to know if anyone knew the chances that I would be able to get fastpasses for Dinosaur? Is that a ride where the passes usually run out early in the day? Thanks!

The park usually closes soon after 4:30, probably 7 at the latest. Just get in line, it won't be long.

Depending on the time of year it may be a walk on.

We wait until very late in the day to ride Expedition Everest because most people leave after the afternoon parade. The lines are very very short.

As the PP noted, however, make sure the park is open later than 5pm while you're there.

I'll be going in mid-August, when AK is open until 6pm.

I've only been there once, at rope drop, so I'm not sure how the crowds will be towards the end of the day.

Does anyone know if I would be able to ride both Dinosaur at EE if I went that late?

EE might well be possible if you don't mind the single rider line. It moves pretty quickly. And late in the day Dinosaur should have a short enough line not to need a FP. Just make sure you don't arrive right after Finding Nemo lets out. Seems like that makes the line grow for a while.

Yes. if you get there by 5:30, you may be able to do both before 6.

Last June we were able to walk on, three times in a row, in mid-to-late afternoon. Even if it's free dining season, I'd imagine you'll be able to get on.
