Just wanted to say if you're looking forward to the fall treat of a candy apple be prepared on the price. I always say i'm going to get one at wdw but we always go deluxe and never have any room. However this time we were on regular dining so i could finally get one. It was $5 for just plain caramel and $9 if you wanted the toppings! This was on Sunset at DHS. I couldnt believe that much for the toppings. It was funny waiting in line for the $5 plain one that i did get, i saw in the display $3 for a 1/2 chocolate dipped pretzle rod.. just one rod. I said to my DH who would pay that? The funny part is the people behind me ordered one. I think that is a bit much.
I was SO looking forward to Animal Kingdom day so that I could use my snacks for the Chocolate shake, which is more like a Frosty.. and buy an out of this world ice cream chocolate chip cookie sandwhich from the Dino place which i had back in Jan. Oh it was SO amazing! Well we went to the waterpark before AK and since it was AK emh we got there at almost 4. The parade got over and made it quite crowded but we navigated directly over to the Dino Bites (i think it's called that). Right as we walk up to the place the windows get boarded up and the women infront of me says " your just going to board it up while i'm trying to order?" and yes the CM did, he just ignored the lady. She was ticked. I was bummed too, closed! No heavenly snack.. bummer! So then we turned around to head over to get the chocolate shake across from Tusker House, that was closed to. I ended up getting a pretzle from the stand by the Safari ride, which was good. So here's my tip, eat early before they close the little food stops. I wish i knew that tip.
