Dinning reservations

I am heading home Nove 2-5th and today I thought to myself, I should make some dinning reservations.... I've never had issues in the past (3plus years ago) getting what I want as long as I do it a few weeks before I arrive. Well it is 7weeks before my trip and there is NOTHING available for Carnation Cafe, or Lamplighter, regardless of day or time. I this the new normal for Disneyland? World I get it, it's been like that forever, but I have never seen that at the Land. Maybe I am doing something wrong?

Reservations at DL seem to go super quick lately. I went on right at my 60 day mark each day and was able to snag Lamplight for lunch one day.

How many are you trying to make the reservation for? Recently it has become nearly impossible to make reservations for less than 3 people. Though I will say Lamplight is a difficult reservation to get so it might not help there but it might help for Carnation.

Keep looking for cancellations. They do pop up, especially as you get closer to your trip dates. And Lamplight Lounge has a walk up list for day of dining.

You can always sign up for an alert system

I'd sign up for dining alerts. I bet you'll be able to get some reservations. Also people cancel alot in the last few days before their reservations, so check back in the day or 2 before your trip.

If I look for a party of 3, Carnation is open for reservations all day Nov 2, 3, 4 and 5. How many people are you trying to reserve for?

Lamplight is very difficult to get a reservation for. However, Lamplight Boardwalk Dining is walk up only.

We went last March and only confirmed and bought tix about 6 weeks ahead. So many of the dining reservations were taken. Had no trouble getting Carnation for a few meals and we really enjoyed it. Lamplight was very rare. I think there are several alert services that seem to scan and alert you when something opens up based upon your request. Also if I was home I made sure I was logged in to Disney dining or could get there quick enough to nab the reservation if an alert came. People cancel and change all the time so you probably will be able to get what you wish.

Lamplight it was a tough one for me my last trip. I didn't decide to book it right away and by the time I decided it was book. By putting in a mouse dining alter I was able to get a reservation for.

For Din Tai Fung in Downtown Disney, reservations still through Yelp. Can book times for up to a table for 6 using it. Used it three times so far. (Notice there are tables for 8 inside..might need to call for larger parties).

Yes but not all restaurants will come up right at 60 days.

Correct only Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Well worth a brunch visit to me, as it is much better than lunch or dinner, and the brunch cocktails are also fun!

You can always sign up for an alert system

They're not the best for DLR. I have been trying to get lamplight for brunch for 1 and they notified me at 3AM the other night so obviously I didn't get it.
