Dinner with Shamu?

Hi there,
We were thinking of making a reservation to have dinner with Shamu, as it will be are daughters 10th birthday whilst in Orlando, as this will be are first trip we have not got a clue about anything!!!! Would you recommend this or could you recommend some alternative to celebrate this special occassion..... Many many thanks x

We went and did it about two years ago...I have "mixed" feelings about it...it was good...the food was good...but personally we would never do it again. We thought that maybe you would get some cool photo ops and whatnot...that was not the case. Shamu came out and did like a 10 minute show if that and then it was done. All in all very disappointing! IMO

Take her to the Cindy's castle for Breakfast, lunch or dinner. This is the most wonderful experience. We did this in Sept for my granddaughter (4)

We did it about 3 years ago and really enjoyed it - I felt they rushed the food though - and dont forget that you also have reserved seats for the Shamu show afterwards which is good. The food is good - try and get there early to get a seat right by the pool area.

Are you talking about the back stage dinner with Shamu and the trainers? or
A dinner in one of their restaurants that get you special Shami seating? We did the backstage last June. If you want detailed info on that one please PM me.

Skip this. I like Sea World (even made it a point to go back there on this trip). Your better off just making a point of going to the Shamu show. Don't shell out the extra money for this. I would reccommend get ressies for the Castle or a character breakfast at Ohana's or 1900 Park Fare. The Castle or CRT gets mixed reviews for food and service but the experience of eating in Cinderella's castle totally out weighs that to me. Just think, you are getting the opportunity to eat in Cinderella's Castle. How cool is that!?!?!?
