Dinner with a toddler, at or around Epcot

San Angel would be a good place for a toddler. The ceilings are high and the place is loud...meaning a crying toddler isn't going to spoil any ones dinner.

I also think Tutto Italia and Rose and Crown would be fine...both are crowded and noisy.

I have never dined in Germany or Garden Grill, so I can't tell you about those.

Leaving the park, which I know you said you didn't want to do, would be Cape May Cafe clam bake dinner at the Beach Club resort. You can walk to and from Epcot from the BC. It's loud and they give you paper covered tables with crayons for the kids. You can also get pitchers of beer. ;)

You know, the more I think about it, the more I'm leaning toward just having lunch at probably the Seasons place cause I hear its good and it will be quicker. And then just picking up a little here and there at counter service and snacks as we walk around world showcase. Do you think I'll regret not doing TS? We can always sit for 15 minutes here and there while we eat our snacks, and we'll get more variety.

Which, at Epcot, is always a great option. Then, in my family, we'd make a bag of popcorn later in the evening back in the room.

There is a lot of great TS at WDW--especially Epcot. But if you're trying to do bang for the buck park time or you're concerned about your kids, you could skip it. Other thoughts would include--will this be your last trip for a while or do you think you'll return sooner rather than later.....

We go somewhat often, so we know what we have to do and what we can do "next time" or the time after that.

We just got back from WDW last week and our two year loved Biergarten. He also kept taking all our pretzel bread from us. Very enjoyable place!

My 2 1/2 year old loved Biergarten, Sunshine Seasons, and Tangereine Cafe. He probably ate more than any of us at Biergarten - I don't think there was anything at the buffet he didn't try and like :)

We did dinner at Via Napoli on our last trip. DD was 2.5. She loved the pizza and ate great. It's very noisy in there, and there were lots of other little kids, so it was fine for a toddler. We split two appetizers and a large pizza and it was perfect, but also affordable.

We also did Chefs de France when she was 20 months, and that was great too (and she ate some vegetables), but she's usually good at restaurants.

Garden Grille - Little guy likes the spinning restaurant and great interaction with the servers. We usually hit the character lunch, but dinner has been a hit too.

Biergarten - Fun show for all. Food is pretty good.

San Angel Inn - the little guy loved the castle like atmosphere and watching the boats.

This is a restaurant board so you're going to get people suggesting restaurants, but I would *highly* recommend counter service, especially since you're paying out of pocket. I love Sunshine Seasons (just don't get Chinese) and most places around the world showcase. You don't have to wait for your food, and you can eat when you are near something good and your toddler is hungry rather than crossing the park for a reservation with a toddler who was maybe hungry earlier and filled upon snacks. Most epcot counter service food is very good and I always look forward to it. We're getting free dining our next trip and I have to figure out how to go to all the counter service places I like while still using our table service credits!

We don't regret doing CS there. That way you can try a little bit from each country.
Ooh, a clam bake sounds good too. Is it delicious?
I thought it was okay. But, I am from New England so I'm used to the real thing. If you are paying cash, I thought this was extremely expensive for what you got. As another posted said, they cover the table with paper so the kids can color on it.

Good luck with your decision.

My family likes it. Food is pretty good. Buffet is well cared for. My sons love crab legs and clams. The desserts were very good. It's a fun dinner and very family friendly.

OOP I'd say do a QS.

My favorite by far is the Tangerine at Morroco. Excellent food and great value. They have a combo plate that is yummy. They do have the usual kid's menu but with a toddler you can eat at different times.

My kids like the kids meal's at Cantina San Angel but they like Taco Bell.

I don't like the Chinese or Japanese QS. They are ordinary. My DD likes the pretzel from Germany the Bratwurst not so much (but I do).
