Dinner while at MK in the summer HELP

We'll be there next July and plan on starting our day at DHS and having lunch at Sci Fi...we then plan to head to MK for the rest of the day and want a time out to have dinner where it will be cool and we can relax awhile.

Here are our options...help me pick!!

Ohana...never been.
Kona...love it.
Tony's...never been, heard too many bad things about it though.
Liberty Tree..only went when it was character dinner.

NOT OPTIONS for one reason or the other...

i went to tony's and thought it was great. the food was really good and the service was as well. other then that i would say to go to the liberty tree then

We really like Tony's as a family. In fact, we eat there every trip. If you are traveling with all adults, I like Ohana's. It is a nice calm atmosphere.

We are a group of 4 adults...and I was considering 1900 Park Faire, but I am looking for something more relaxing....maybe I will try Tony's...just heard so many bad things about the food.

Ohana...never been.NOT relaxing...fun, loud, hectic
Kona...love it.good food, but not a particularly relaxing setting, either...open to the lobby. We found it very noisy all 3 times we've been there...including this last time when we actually were as far away from the open & very busy lobby as we could be. It was still very loud...just too many tables, too close together I guess.
Tony's...never been, heard too many bad things about it though.we had lunch here in May...food wasn't bad at all, actually pretty tasty, but the place was not very relaxing either --too busy/too loud/too crowded for real relaxing
Liberty Tree..only went when it was character dinner.
we also went when it was character meal--as such it was good. But without the characters, don't think that set Thanksgiving-style meal would be worth it.

For relaxing, I'd go to either The Wave at The Contemporary, or the Grand Floridian Cafe. The Wave menu looks new-agey-organic-healthy, but if you look past the artsy descriptions, you'll see it's really just a glorified steakhouse (and very good steaks, too.) The Grand Flor. Cafe looks fancy, decor-wise, but it's also just a steakhouse type menu. Both places have steaks/chicken/seafood options. We've had great meals both places. If you're on the dining plan, both are 1 TS credit per person...and on the monorail, so very handy to Magic Kingdom

We are not on the dining plan. Does Ohana have some type of interaction that makes it so loud and hectic?? I know they don't have characters but what happens at dinner??

We ate at Tony's on 8/19. Food was really good and the service was fast and efficient. I would go back anytime. We also ate at LTT. It was good but not quite the same without the characters.

It's just about the easiest to get to since walking to and from the MK is very easy. The food is very good and it's still not caught on as much as some of the others.

I would suggest Kona. I don't understand all of the "loud" reviews, I don't find it any louder than any other restaurant. I find it to be laid back, and it's definitely not as loud as anything in a park. They also have a pretty varied menu, and awesome desserts! I love the open side that allows you to look out on the GCH, and the windows that offer a view towards the monorail station.

I hear a lot of bad things about Tony's as well, and that's a shame because it keeps me from going there and it's a really neat place. (Well, that and the fact that we're inundated with Italian food around here, and have it all the time, so on vacation it's nice to do something different.)

'Ohana gets great reviews, and again, I don't understand the "loud" thing. Again, I don't think it's any louder than any other restaurant. They do have some interaction with the kids there (hula hoops, dancing to Hawaiian music, coconut races in the center of the restaurant), but it's cute, and offers the kids something to hold their interest.
