OK.. We have made out ADR's and we are using the Basic Dining Plan. We know that we have used all out TS credits with a couple days not accounted for.. We know we will wither pay OOP or use snack and CS credits...
I have calculated what each TS would have cost us...

However.. Our flight lands on Friday Nov14th at 11ish.... figured after car rental and stopping by a souvenir outlet to let the kids get their books and stuff.. we could do a mid afternoon meal (call it dinner, call it lunch I don't care)..
This will my kids DS 8 and DD 5 1st trip to Disney..
I'd like to kick it off great and set the tone for a Fun Disney Magical time ..

Here's what we have booked..

day 1 - your Opinions Please

Day 2 - Breakfast @ Chef Mickeys 9am

Day 3 - Dinner at 50's Diner 5pm

day 4 - Breakfast Cinderella Royal Table & Dinner at The Plaza 5pm

Day 5 - Dinner @ the Coral Reef 6pm

Day 6 - Planet Hollywood 7:30pm

Day 7 - Mickey's Backyard BBQ

Day 8 - Yachtsmans 8pm

Day 9 - ??

Day 10 - ??

So In your opinion - How would you kick it off, and also a couple other places that are HAVE too's ???

I have seen Mixed opinions on Whispering Canyon seemed cool..????
Also suggestions on a not so expensive Breakfast if we need to eat eat other than counter service another morning...

ok thats more than likely TMI - I'm just getting excited and also a little OCD about the trip and making ADR's......:yay:

Just a little FYI breakfast is not the best use of your points. We always use our points for dinners (more bag for your buck).
Starting out at Chef Micheys for dinner is always one of my kids favorites.
Also you don't have Cystral Palce at MK the have Winnie the pooh and friends my kids love it.
If you kids are intreested in Animals I would go to Boma at AK, after dinner go to one of the viewing spots to watch the animals.
My kids also love the Coral Reef with all the fish, you feel like you are eating underwater.
hope this helps.

Stayed at WL last time and I give Whispering Canyon a thumbs down for anything but b'fast. The BBQ/salt factor is overwhelming.

We usually kick off our trips with Chef Mickey's or the HDDR.

We are kicking off our 1st full day with dinner at the California Grill.

We usually start or end the trip with Chef Mickey's. To get either a good start to the trip or end it well. But we just tried Crystal Palace and really enjoyed it. So Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace would be my top choice. Other good choices is 1900 Park Fare and Ohana
