Hi all. I'm new to the board and I appreciate all the great information everyone shares. I'm not very knowledgable about the parks (except for what I learn here) so it has been very helpful.

We are making a last minute trip down to Disney this weekend. There will be 5of us (including my son (10), daughter (8) and Mother. Our plan is to be in Epcot Friday, MK Saturday and DHS Sunday.

We will be doing breakfast in the condo and lunch at counters or on the run. I'd LOVE to have some of your suggestions/recommenrdations for dinners (and a strategy) for those parks on those evenings.

I would assume (please don't laugh) that advance reservations are way out of the question so I would like to hear any thoughts on the best places for us to visit - and how/when.

We don't have a strict preference for character dinners or any type of cuisine - just really want to have the best "experience".

Thanks in advance for your help!!

For a walk in dinner at those parks, here's what I'd recommend:

Epcot -
Just go to Guest Services in Epcot at the start of the day and you can make a reservation and see the availability - If there's nothing, I recommend getting to whichever restaurant you want at about 4pm and asking if you can get in.

MK - I'd leave at about 4:45pm and head over to the Polynesian to go to Ohana. It's not too inconvenient to leave and come back to the park. In park, I would recommend Liberty Tree Tavern, again at the start of dinnertime.

DHS - We like Mama Melrose and it's never too crowded. If you want Sci-fi or something like that, you need to just get there early again like the above.

Good luck!

You may want to go to www.disneyworld.restaurants and do some searches to find out what is available for reservations if you want to eat dinner at TS restaurants inside theme parks this weekend.

also i would try to see if you can book anything online as well. we have done this for a few last minute changes in our plans and it worked out. if you choice a place and nothing is available it will give you some other options as well as times. it is worth checking into this
