I am hoping you can give me some suggestions on dining for our (surprise!) honeymoon to Disney. I think we’re going to go with the deluxe dining plan which means we could do several signature restaurants as we don’t use the plan for breakfast (although I would like to go to the crystal palace and I’ve heard the poly has a great breakfast). Anyway, would you look this over and make any suggestions? The past few years we have eaten at many of the same places and loved them – the Grand Floridian Café, Le Cellier, Narcosses, Kona Café (didn’t love it) so any thoughts would be welcomed!

Monday
Dinner: Hoop dee doo

Tuesday
Dinner: Tony's Town Square (I haven’t been here in nearly 20 years, any reviews?)
Or … Signature dining at Citrico's

Wednesday
Dinner: Coral Reef
Or… Signature dining at California Grill

Thursday
Dinner: Grand Floridian Café
Or… where?

Friday
Dinner: Narcossees

Saturday
Breakfast: Kona Café or Crystal Palace

Wednesdays list definately has two I would suggest... The view at night of MK from California Grill and do you know about the Diver signs/ custom menu at Coral Reef?

I would say Crystal Palace so that you have a character meal...even honeymooners should meet the characters (especially Pooh!). :)

As for Tony's--we love it, but we prefer it at lunch rather than dinner. Doesn't seem to be as crowded, service is a little better and the portions are a little smaller--especially if you are going to get an appetizer as well as dessert.

And Happy Honeymoon!

Thanks, I heard TOny's is just average for dinner -- any other thoughts?

Jiko would be my on-plan recommendation...

and since this is a once in a lifetime thing, do give consideration to doing Victoria and Alberts if the budget will run to it... it's an amazing experience that you will never forget.

I agree, if you can swing it, I would vote for Victoria & Albert's!!!:thumbsup2

At Epcot might be good, can't beat the veiw and if you let them know it is a special dinner a diver may swim by with a sign wishing a great honey moon.:goodvibes :goodvibes Danny

Give Jiko's a try. It will be something different and can be fun to experience the AK Lodge.

Narcoosees is great! :thumbsup2 I went there last summer and absolutely loved it. We were able to see the fireworks as well. It was an incredible evening.

I would also recommend Crystal Palace for breakfast. The food is good and you can't beat a Winnie the Pooh character breakfast.
