dinner show for kids????

thinking of maybe doing a dinner show on our first night in the area. i will have a 5 yr old boy and a 6 yr old girl with me. any suggestions??? ooooh and if it helps, our first night will be a sunday! but any suggestions are welcome. plans are very flexible. thank you!

The Hoop De Doo Revue is my kids all time favorite dinner show, tho they love just about any one they go to. HDDR is a must do every year. My kids are 8 yo dd and 5 yo ds now.

If you are thinking off site, a couple years ago we did the Pirates Dinner Theater because my son was so nutty about pirates at the time. My dd was being a pain and just refused to believe she would have a good time there. She ended up having a blast as did the rest of us!

On a smaller scale (and price tag!), I can recommend the Night of Wonder dinner-show in the Shazam Theatre at WonderWorks, which seems to appeal well to both boys and girls. It is only a small production (barely 100 people there) and provides just pizza and sodas/beer/wine with the show, but it is well constructed and pretty good fun, even if the magic tricks are nothing that you haven't seen before (although they are quite impressive in close-up). There is a lot of audience participation and the pizza (in two types - pepperoni and cheese and tomato) is pretty good, and it offers a completely different style to the other shows.

I still rate Medieval Times probably the best all-round family show (just shading Hoop Dee Doo), but these three, plus Arabian Nights and Pirates (the latter with the weakest food, IMHO), all rate as good family fare in my book.
