Dinner show: Adults only- need opinions

I am trying to help my brother in planning for his first trip with the kids to WDW (they are DL regulars)
They are staying at the contemporary resort and have babysitting services and they want to do something fun...
1. Hoop-de-doo or Poly dinner show? I have done Hoop (LOVED IT) but since I have not done poly I cant compare. Bonus they can take a boat to either one
2. I suggested Cali grill or Wave and have a nice dinner to watch fireworks- they said no to that since they are already watching the fireworks with the kids twice
3. Jellyrolls- Never been.. Is that a good place to have adult only fun?
4. I even suggested take a taxi to a dinner show in Orlando- I hate that idea but..
5. LaNouba- I have done this but the show is kinda pricey.. I liked it but I didnt love it for $100/ticket. I told her to youtube it and see if they might like it

Any other ideas to shoot to them? (no on the fireworks cruise also)

I would say to avoid the Poly Luau. Years ago it was pretty good, but the quality of both the show and the food have declined in recent years. Also, it can be cancelled with little warning due to weather, which would really throw a wrench in a special evening that has been planned for a long time.

V&A sounds like a good option, but it can be VERY expensive. If budget is an issue, you might suggest Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge. Great food, a really beautiful resort to explore, and not usually as many kids as some of the other restaurants on property. After dinner, there is a nice Lounge to sit in and have a drink, or take a stroll down to the beach. The nice thing is, the boat between MK and WL is very convenient to the Contemporary; they can just walk over, or take the Monorail, and the boat trip is so nice!
