What is the easiest way to find out our dinner rotation?

I asked Disney and they said you find out when you check in. It is listed on your key to the world card. I wish you could find out sooner.

This will be cruise #6 and since you can book Palo ahead of time I was trying to get a handle on our schedule.

Interesting, we had Lumieres/Animators and PC, and we have kids. (12 and 16). But it WAS the NYE cruise, and it was packed. Lots of kids in the dining room. This was also late seating.

We're two adults travelling on the Magic Oct 29th - Nov 5th. I hope the rotation is LAP. We've already booked Palo's for the Monday night.

Never noticed that untill you mentioned it. Last cruise, we had all adults (4), and followed the rotation you mentioned.
Also, now that I think of it, there were mostly adults at our time, and not many children at all that I noticed.

Sometimes it is a little off, but the way I understand it, that is the formula they try to follow. Worked for us everytime. On all the cruises we've been on, we've always started in Lumiere's, so that's what I predict for this time.

I read on another post that the ages of the kids in each of these groups depends on the distribution of kids on each sailing. i.e: The families with older kids (teenagers/preteen) might get in the group with adults -L/T,A,PC if that sailing has more younger kids. So the breakdown you list is a valid, but the youngest kids get the A,PC,L/T, the middle kids the PC,L/T,A and the oldest kids might end up in the "adult" rotation depending on how many of each grouping there are. Does that make sense? If not, you might try searching for the other post (sorry I can't direct you to the thread).

We are booked for the double CC Nov 11/06 7 day cruise. Does anyone know when the formal and semi formal nights are on. When is the best night to book Palos, we have a 5 yr old DS and he would like Pirate's night. Which night is that on?

Noone will know the schedule for those sailings until the first one gets underway. My guess is that they will follow the Western's schedule but you never know. The character breakfast seems to be the biggest toss up since you need 3 mornings at sea but we will be in all of the ports by 8 am. That only leaves 2 mornings.

My friends kids are 9, 11 and 13. They had LAP.
