Hi!
I can't get the search to work today, so I was wondering if anyone can offer advice on the best dinner rotation for the 7 day Double Dip Cruise. We're leaving next week... HOORAY!!!
I was told the Pirate night is on day 5...Cozumel...and I would imagine, it would be most exciting to be in Parrot Cay that night...and Lumiere's on formal night.

Also, I know the rotations are automatically signed at check-in...is there a way to request? Or change it, once assigned? We plan on checking in early.

Thanks for any and all advice with this:)

On our DD in August we had the APL rotation, it was great as we had Formal Night & Semi-Formal night in Lumiere's and Pirate Night in Parrot Cay.

Mousemamaof5 - I think we are on the same cruise - Oct. 14 Magic? I'd love to find out our rotation before we sail. We will skip formal night unless we have Animators Palate that night - as I don't want to miss the show there!

Does anyone know how the buffet compares to the dining room menus? It it a lot of the same food. Thinking there may be nights the menu features something divine, but we don't feel like dressing up!

I was SOOO worried before our first cruise about the dinning rotation that we'd get. I too thought it would be SOOO much better to be in Luminers on formal night. We were booked on the Western...and recieved the APL rotation...which would have put us in the correct dinning room....IF we wouldn't have been rerouted and our formal/semi-formal nights changed. We ended up having formal night in PC. On our second cruise I wasn't as concerned with it...but again we got APL...and were scheduled to be in Luminers on formal night. All went as planned (as far as the dinning nights not being changed) and we did ene up in Luminers on Formal night. Now that I've been in two diffrent dinning rooms for that evening...I can say it honestly didn't make any diffrence.

The same goes for Pirate night...we had late seating and the dinner was so rushed that I can't even remember where we were that night. The didn't do anything special in the dinning room to go along with the Pirate night...except for the cool menus and bandanas.

Anyways I wouldn't worry to much about it...You'll be to busy enjoying your meal, company, and talking about your trip to really care what room your in. (IMO)

Good advice.

To answer the other part of your question. Topsiders runs pretty much the same menu as the dinning room. It is a good alternative if you are running late or don't feel like dressing up. We are on the 10/14 cruise so if that one is yours we'll see you there
