Well, it looks as though we are finally getting to try out vero beach, if only for one night. I had some points in holding I had to use so I took a 2 bedroom that was available the first Sunday in June. What are the onsite eateries that are there, and do I have to make ressies? Thanks...also if anyone has any tips to make this very brief trip more enjoyable, I would appreciate them!:D

Sonya's and Shutters are the 2 on-site places. PS's should probably be made, but I think you can usually do that without problems they day you arrive (we've not had a problem doing it this way). Sonya's is the fancy place, and Shutters is more casual. I think the Green Cabin Room also serves some food items, no PS's for here though.

Also, Vero does have room service.

My advice is to get there as early in the day as you can. The best parts of VB are the pool and the ocean. You can enjoy both even if your room isn't ready when you arrive.

Try the brunch. Call for reservations. It starts at 10 am and is best early before a crowd descends. If you strike out with Sonyas the Black Pearl Restaurant at 4445 Rt A1A about 5 miles south is great for adults. http://www.blackpearlvero.com/index.html
have a great time!

Had to edit the url - sorry
