Hi All,

I can use some advice for my first two night in disney. I am landing in Disney on a Sunday at 2. We are staying at WL and are planning on using the pool and paying out of pocket for whispering canyon that night. As of Monday, we have DDP for the rest of our trip, which is 4 more days. Monday we were going to spend the entire day in MK with my 5 and 7 year old boys, it's party night so we have to be out for 7. I have dinner reservations that evening at 1900 Park. I am wondering if I should switch this to Kona Cafe or something else. My thoughts were that the boys were going to be exhausted after a full day in MK and I wanted something close to the park and our hotel. However, I don't think the boys will care that much about Cinderella etc and maybe we should go for a more relaxing meal. Then I was thinking going back to our hotel that evening and possibly going to Disney Springs the Sunday night we arrive.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Thank you

Do you have any Whispering Canyon plans? Always a fun time

There are also options at the Campground that could be fun for the kids and get you out exploring a bit

I'd do Kona (or maybe something in DS) the first night and do Whispering Canyon after your MK day.

We stay at WL and really enjoy Trail's End at Fort Wilderness. It would be a decent out of pocket option, and perhaps slightly cheaper than Whispering Canyon (but not as close or as much fun), so you could save Whispering Canyon for when you are on the plan. You could also stick with Whispering Canyon OOP on Sunday and choose something instead of 1900 Park based more on food than the experience. Ohana comes to mind, and would be a good deal on the plan inf the food interests you.

I would stick with Whispering Canyon for your first night or, as another PP suggested, take the boat to Ft. W for Trail's End, which will be cheaper OOP. Ft. W is a lot of fun. You can visit the stables and have a pony ride if your children are small enough and play on the playground.

On your MK day, if you haven't done WC the night before, I would go there then and pay with your dining plan. If you HAVE done WC on your first night, I would consider going to the Wave at CR after MK. You can walk or monorail to CR, the food is great at the Wave and the, you can just boat back to WL from CR.

1900 PF is an fun experience for everyone! The stepsisters adore boys (my son even got a smooch). Plus, the food is delicious...the strawberry soup is a must.
