dinner plans for our last night?

We will be spending our last night in Magic Kingdom on July 3rd. What restaurant would be the best place to eat. Our children ages are 17 and 14.

Even though CP has Pooh characters, it is also a very good buffet. That might be very handy with teenagers.

I'd hop on the monorail, head over to the Polynesian and eat at either Kona or 'Ohana for dinner!

I'd go to O'hana's too. The food is great, and it is a place that teens enjoy. A bit more than character meals.


I would still not miss out on character dining though, but maybe not at the end of a trip, a little too painful for me. I hate seeing all the festive people when I have to pack my suitcases and leave the next day.

I make sure my character meals are anywhere but on the last day of my trip.

My vote would be to either take the monorail or walk over to the Contemporary Resort and have dinner at California Grill. My bf and I did this when we went in Sept. and now plan this to be our end of trip meal till the end of time. It is a fabulous meal with a beautiful view of MK. Double points if you time the meal at sunset. Triple points if you can time it for Wishes.
There were lots of families there with children of all ages and the menu has many choices to please any teen. It is an expensive meal but well worth it, especially if you are on the dining plan.

BTW - don't let the dress code scare you off if you plan to be in the park prior to dinner. My bf wore a short sleeved polo shirt with khakis and I wore a long peasant-type skirt with a fitted top and Birkenstocks. We were very comfortable in the parks all day and were dressed appropriately for dinner.
