Nit sure if this has been addressed conceptually, but with with the AK now incorporating both Avatarland and Rivers of Light..how has that changed the restaurant dynamic at the AK? It appears what was once a half say park, is now a full day destination....

Prior to either, our concern was always either breakfast (likely Tusker house) or lunch (likely Yak&Yeti). However, with the added attractions in the former Camp Minnie&Mickey and the night time entertainment, dinner options now become a concern.

How has this impacted your planning?

Your thoughts?

I booked a Tiffins Rivers of Light dining package. Not rocket science. No extensive planning. Easy Peasy

We usually do QS, and have never found it too crowded, even at popular FlameTree BBQ, to get food and a table. But with the park being more crowded because of the new attractions, I plan on getting an ADR for lunch, to take a break and relax. It will probably be at Yak and Yeti.

That's two DDP credits, isn't it? Was it worth it?

We always pay OOP, no dining plan, and have found the quality and service at Tiffins to be worth it every time. We even had to pay adult prices for our picky DS11 for the ROL package last month. He loved the Wagyu without sauce. It was pricy, but I was glad we could expose him to gourmet food. They do have a kids menu that you can order from, but you have to pay the adult price for kids 10+.

Thanks. We are five adults going and looking for some different kinds of dining experiences. Dining is as big a part of our WDW holidays as the rides and attractions. Just looking for new things to try.

As all adults, I would say it's a must. It's one of our favorite restaurants on property now. We have eaten there 3 times, and I just can't bring myself to eat at any other restaurants in AK now. Nomad Lounge next door is amazing too and has good apps.

Will definitely be looking at that then. Can you give me a rough idea of how much the main meals are, please? It might be an idea for us to pay OOP for this. Do you pay extra for the ROL package?

The ROL package is a set price and includes 1 drink (normal stuff like water, tea, lemonade, maybe press-pot coffee), 1 appetizer, 1 entree, and 1 dessert per person for $67. It includes anything off the menu, no restrictions.

For regular meals, the Disney website had the pricing. It's one of the more expensive restaurants, but the quality is there.
