Our plane lands in Orlando at 8:00 pm, DME is taking us to Old Key West. We will be starving, what do you think the best options at Down Town Disney? Can a 17 year old go to all the restaurants at 10:30? We have 7 adults and one teen. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thanks.

I don't know of any restrictions for 17-year olds at any restaurants.

OTOH, you may have an overall timing issue.

If your plane lands at 8 PM, you will reach OKW by 9:30-10:00 PM, depending on traffic and how many other guests are on your bus.

Expect to take about 30 minutes for check-in, and to get to your villa. That would be 10-10:30 PM. Honestly, I doubt you will have time to go to your villa. You will be better off checking in and just heading straight to DTD.

You would then have to catch the bus or boat (not sure if it runs that late) to DTD, arriving at a restaurant between 10:30 and 11 PM. I do not know which restaurants are still serving at that hour. I think your choices will be very limited.

You may need a Plan B.

I know that Planet Hollywood takes late ADRs. I have made them for 10pm in the past. Not sure what the last ADR they have is, but a 17 year old would definitely be able to get in there.

We have a similar situation on our upcoming trip.
We also get in at 8 and plan on hitting DTD for dinner as we are staying for 2 days at a nearby hotel before heading to our resort the difference is we will have a car.

I'd like to think we can be to DTD by 9 to 930. But we have discussed the later we get there the lighter the meal we'll get. The kid wants to hit t-rex the adults are leaning towards Earl of Sandwich.

Not trying to hijack, but am also interested in what others have to say :goodvibes.

Why not just eat at Olivia's? It's right at OKW and then you can relax at the resort after a long flight.

We were just there a month ago and I know House of Blues is open late. They have a happy hour that begins at 10pm. Drink specials and 1/2 price appy. Some of the appys are wings and Pizza $5 each. DD17 and I went there for dinner and we really enjoyed it.

a link for restaurant.com, they have gift certificates for House of Blues for sell. Make sure you have the current code you can usually save 80% off. We got our $25 gc for $2. Also it shows that House of Blues is open until midnight or 1am on Friday and Saturday. Drink specials are $2 domestic beer and $3 import beer, house wine, and house cocktails.

Like the other posters I would suggest eating at your resort, Olivia's or House of Blues. I have not eaten at Bongos, but have heard the service can be spotty, though the music was great.

We had an awful experience at Paradiso 37 so I'd steer clear of that place. Food wasn't the greatest and I found our server to be very pompous. We had a pre Cirque dinner there. We found ourselves off site at Perkins pancakes at midnight, ie. dinner did not fill us up we had to eat again later.

Thanks for all the suggestions. We like Olivia's but they might be winding up for the night. It looks like House of Blues will be open late. DisneyWisher - I just printed a coupon with the 80% discount for House of Blues. THANKS! It will be an adventure.
