I've been seeing info about "dinner rotations"...how does that work? When do you know what time you get to eat dinner...we requested early, but....

You ticket with dining rotation and time will be in your cabin when you arrive. It also shows on your KTTW card.

Don't laugh, but what is the KTTW card?? I'm sorry!!
Also, we have 22 people in our party/group--will they book us all at the same dinner??

You need to specify early or late sitting when you book your cruise. Early seating is currently 6:00 PM, late is 8:00 PM.
I know they were experimenting with 5:30 and 7:30 dinner times, but I believe that has ended... someone please correct me if I am wrong on that!

Rotations refer to the order in which you dine in each of the 3 restaurants on board. You will have either APL, PLA, or LAP.

A = Animator's Palate
L = Lumiere's
P = Parrot Cay

(I am assuming you're on the Magic? Substitute 'T' for 'L' if you are on the Wonder, which has Tritons instead of Lumieres)

You eat in each restaurant twice, unless you choose to skip a night in favor of Palo! (The adults-only restaurant).

Your rotation appears on your 'Key to the World card', which is given to you when you check in. There will be a 7 letter combination printed on it, such as PLAPLAP, meaning you eat at Parrot Cay first, then Lumiere's, etc. You can also request a rotation through your TA, if you have a preference. Otherwise you will simply be assigned one appropriate for your family.

ENJOY!!!

Ohhh, ok! Thank you for that information! Do you usually get the dinner time that you request??

Yes, we have always gotten the seating we requested, and yes, they will put everyone in your party together if you make sure your TA links all of your reservations!!

Hi Peerue,
You should already know what seating you have, whether you booked through Disney or a travel agent. Did whoever you booked through not tell you at the time of booking what your dinner seating time would be? If not, I'd definitely check on it.
