When you have dinner delivered from the MDR to your one bedroom, can you have it done by course - or is it all just plopped down to get room temperature at the same time?

I wouldn't feel comfortable asking that. That requires a lot of walking back and forth to the kitchen

It comes all at once. I believe they only do (or did) Palo course-by-course when delivered to one of the suites.

I guess you could ask? When we stayed in the Walt Disney Suite on the Magic, they brought all of our Palo dishes at the same time. It didn't occur to me to ask for it in courses and it was fine, as delivered, for us.

I agree with above posters: MDR default option is everything brought at one time - Palo default option served in courses. You could always request it to be brought in courses, but that might be a scenario where you would want to tip a few dollars per plate that they carry (as many people do with the complementary room service). However that is totally up to your discretion of course!

A few people above have mentioned Palo being delivered to the room - and I can confirm that upon my last sailing that was for the Royal suites only. Obviously things can change, but that has been our experience when sailing concierge!

Generally, for the main dinning it is brought all at once unless you are in a concierge room. That's a lot of walking to request it for the standard rooms for the staff assigned to you to have to hike back and forth 3 times across the ship for your dinner.

If I were to request this, and have it granted - of course I would tip... maybe around 50 dollars?

Our thing with concierge is never be afraid to ask! Worst thing you can hear is that they cant accommodate your specific request! You guys will have a great time!

This is pretty much my entire motto in life. If you're willing to graciously hear no - there's no harm in asking. Though you should always preface it with "feel free to say no".
