Dinner in MK or back to hotel with toddler?

afternoon melt-down can occur anywhere between 12:00 and 3:00. some parents insist on getting their money's worth and refuse to leave park when kids (and even some adults) just need a cool, quiet place to rest and take a nap. parents who refuse to leave when their kids start to melt down are usually the parents who remember disney as unpleasant, overcrowded, over-priced, etc.
next time you are there you'll see the little ones starting to melt down because they haven't been given the chance to catch some zzzzzz's.
leaving for a couple of hours and coming back later pays of for them, but also for the adults

Not ALL kids melt down at that time and some are able to stay in the parks all day, mine included. I think it would do my child a dis-service to assume they couldn't handle a full day if they could. Of course, if a melt down is happening and your child will not nap in a stroller in the park, leave, but give them the benefit of the doubt.

With QS it seems like you can play it by ear. If things are good, stay in the park for more choices and magic. If she's starting to fade, beat a hasty retreat to either your resort or one nearby for a less sensory heavy experience.

There is also always pizza delivery to your room. Sometimes easy is the better part of magic. ;)
