DW and I are interested in dinner in France at EPCOT. Which is better, Bistro de Paris or Chefs de France?

I haven't been to either one but I'm looking forward to trying Les Chefs de France this October. :flower: I think it all depends on what kind of atmosphere and dining experience you're looking for.

We've been to both and while they're both excellent, for a nice dinner for 2 I'd pick the Bistro. It is more pricey than Chefs de France, but the atmosphere and food are worth it! ::MinnieMo

We have eaten only at Chefs de France for both lunch and dinner and have never been disappointed. Several times we have had a table by the windows which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

I suspect the atmosphere upstairs in the Bistro is even better, but the menu has less that appeals to us and it is a bit more pricey, but someday soon I am sure we will try it. :)

My DH posted this poll a few months ago. We're going to WDW in December and wanted to eat in France for our "date night." Almost everyone suggested Bistro, so that's where we're going! Although I see your poll results are closer..hmmmm....no...not changing my mind again. ;)

I haven't been to either one, but I just made a PS for Chefs de France for my birthday next month. I checked the menus for both, and "Chefs" appealed to me more. I'll post a review after I return!

Thanks to all that voted and replied. Looks like it is a dead heat. I'm still not sure which we will choose, but sounds like we can't make a bad choice either way. Time for a coin toss and hope for the best

We like Bistro, mainly due it's more "open" look and more quiet atmosphere. Be aware though that it has been suggested Bistro has some sort of dress code and has turned away folks who are in theme park casual cloths--which most people who are in Epcot would be. I do not know how true this is, but thought I'd bring it to your attention. Last time we ate there (a few years ago) we were in shorts and t's and was no problem.

We went to Chefs for lunch (got the special) and Bistro for dinner (same day -didn't want to use Park Hoppers!)

I like both but... Bistro was more elegant (and expensive!) Quieter, lovely service and we could see the fireworks from the window. We had the wonderful double consomme that my DD was talking about since the last time she went.

Bistro is my fave restaurant. My DH had steak au poivre flambed at the table and I had a beef special. The desserts were divine. I had a chocolate souffle! Wow! DD had the dessert sampler and DH had the chocolate cake. My DD felt really special there (they treated her very well.)
:wizard:

I like the food at Chefs too, but this was more festive!

Hope that helps! (Besides, it was nice to dress up a bit for dinner!)

I get confused as to which is which.

We have eaten at both and had the best meal we ever had, at Disney, at the upstairs restaurant, (Bistro?), for our tenth anniversary. Of course that was ten years ago. Things do change!!!

Though we have not "eaten" at Bistro lately. We were seated there only to be very disappointed with the selections on the menu, so we asked to be relocated to Chefs. We have eaten at Chef's 2 or 3 times over the years and have been very pleased.

My sugestion to you is to take a look at the menus, both lunch and dinner, and make your selection based on that. Either way you can not go wrong.
