My trip planned for next spring will get us to Anaheim at dinnertime after a 5-6 hour drive with friends from Phoenix. I'm hesitant to make dinner reservations anywhere, since traffic and driving time are variable, and I want to save room for some delicious vacation kick-off beverages at Trader Sam's. :)

Any suggestions for where to eat? I'm thinking someplace in Downtown Disney that takes walk-ups. :)

You can order food at Trader Sam's from the Tangaroa Terrace. They have some yummy selections.

Check out Uva Bar in DTD - good food, and lovely to sit outside and people watch! :)

better than recommend some places for you, seeing as we dont know what kind of food you really like, here is a link to menus from DTD restaurants:

if you scroll down to the bottom of the page on the link below, you will see the list for all the walk up counter service restaurants

and as Girimama stated, you can eat CS at DLH

All four of us pretty much just like food...and since I've never been to Disneyland before and have read up on most of those places already, hearing some of peoples favorites is what would really be helpful :)

My absolute favorite in DTD is Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen. Consistently good food and service. Also enjoyed the Sunday brunch here.

We were pleasantly surprised by Naples on our last trip. We went once several years ago and almost everyone in our group of 4 was disappointed in the food. We tried it again a few weeks ago and the apps and pizza were good.

White Water Snacks or Storytellers at the Grand Californian...

I agree with kylie71 but I really do like SS55 or the family loves the ESPN zone since we do not have anything like it even close.
