Since the Magic doesn't leave until 11pm, has anyone forgone dinner onboard during Pirates night for dinner in Cozumel? pirate:

If you have, are there any recommendations or regrets?

We ate lunch and a "lite" early dinner in Cozumel (Conch and Lobster). We had late seating, so we ate again for Mexicalli night on-board (no pirate night when we cruised last on DCL).

There are many fine restaurants in Cozumel. Experience it if you can.

I will be on the Western Caribbean cruise in Sept, and I too am curious about dinner spots. I have heard there is a new "Pirates in the Caribbean" night on the cruise....does this apply only to the EASTERN cruise or to both Caribbean cruises?

Also, are there food/sickness issues I should be aware of when dining in Mexico?

Thanks,
stina pirate:

GenieDana - We are late seating also. Maybe a midafternoon lunch would do the trick. Conch & lobster sounds too good to pass up but from what's been written, we don't want to miss the pirates night either. Thanks for the suggestion.

Stina - I heard that Pirates has replaced both Mexicali night on the western and tropicali night on the eastern. Only recommended Cozumel restaurant we've heard of (by a friend who entertains on Princess Lines) is "La Choza". He said the food there is not to be missed.
