dinner ideas

I thought I'd mark the "two months to go" mark with a special themed dinner next week. I think I can scare up enough Disney themed cups and plates from around the house to serve everyone. But I don't have any good ideas about some Disney-themed food. Maybe if I could just make some of our regular dinners in a mouse-ears shape--or shaped like the castle? Has anyone done anything similar? Or have any good ideas? My husband is following Atkins, so that complicates things, but we could just serve him his usual slab of meat if that didn't fit into our theme.

What about making dishes from a Mickey cookbook from favorite places around WDW to eat? If all else fails, breakfast for dinner with pancakes and sausage patties shaped like Mickey?

How3 about Mickey pancakes. Super easy to make. The only problem is that my DD3 decided she couldn't eat them because Mickey would be angry she ate his head.

Strings,

Too funny. I hope your three year old didn't want to cuddle up with the Mickey pancakes to go to sleep ;-).

I actually wasn't feeling all that adventurous and ended up just feeding the kids dinner on princess and Pooh dishes and cups. I'm also a little worried that they are getting TOO excited, so I am TRYING not to talk about Disney too much, since two months is still a long wait for little kids.
