OK! Flights have changed and we will now be arriving in Orlando at 12:30 PM instead of 4:50 PM. This gives us an afternoon we wouldn't have otherwise. I was thinking of going to DTD for this. Any suggestions on where to eat? I haven't been to DTD for about 7 or 8 years....always too busy at the parks. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Bump. Really would like some input. Would it be easier to do a monorail resort? We're staying at POP.

Are you looking for CS or TS? There are a number of both types in DtD.

For CS, Wolfgang Puck Express gets pretty good reviews, as does the Earl of Sandwich.

For TS, Raglan Road can be very good. And if you want seafood, try Fulton's. Or Wolfgang Puck Café may appeal to you. I would avoid Planet Hollywood and Rainforest. IMO, the atmosphere is fun but the food is average at best.

Raglan Road seems to be getting lots of hype here on the DIS and I think we are going to try it out on our next trip (still trying to figure out and get our ADRs in order).

From what I hear, it's best to make later ADRs there 7:30-8pm so you can see the band.

I have eaten at Wolfgang Pucks Cafe and it was pretty good. And we always have at least one meal at Earl of Sandwich, followed by a new tradition of getting sundaes at Ghiradelli.

Will you have kids with you? If so, the Rainforest Cafe at DTD would be a big hit with them! I love that place. Huge menu, great atmosphere.

Although we hear lots of bad stuff...we still enjoy Planet Hollywood in DTD. Also Wolfgang Puck express and Earl of Sandwich are great places. Going to a MR resort would be cool too..but you need to get ADRs if that is you plan.
