Dinner For Two

GOING TO SARATOGA SPRINGS AND WLV WITH DH, DD, AND DSX2 THIS JUNE. I WILL HAVE THE LUXURY OF HAVING MY MOTHER COME UP TO SPEND THE NIGHT WITH THE KIDS . CAN ANYONE PLEASE ADVISE A FINE DINING EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE SSR VICINITY FOR JUST THE TWO OF US? ALSO, HAVE BEEN TO DTD MANY TIMES BUT NEVER TO PLEASURE ISLAND, CAN ANYONE RECOMMEND WHICH CLUBS AT DTD ARE GOOD FOR A COUPLE IN THEIR EARLY 30'S?
CAN ANYONE ADVISE IF THE BOAT RIDE FROM THE WLV TO THE MAGIC KINGDOM AND WDW RESORTS RUN ALL THE TIME OR JUST DURING PEAK SEASON?

Not sure what you mean by "fine" dining, but if you mean sit down, real silverware, cloth napkins, then there are several options at DTD and the West Side. DH and I always have a quiet meal at Portabella Yacht Club, but there are other very good restaurants there as well.

At PI, the Adventurer's Club, and the Comedy club are always a good time. I've heard excellant things about the jazz club as well.

The boats run between VWL and MK all the time.

You also might want to look at Arthur's 27 in the Grosvenor Hotel in the Hotel Plaza area. Apparently they have really good food, and the view from the 27th floor is supposed to be one of the best in all of Orlando if you get a table that looks out over WDW.

It's always so difficult to suggest a restaurant. I strongly suggest you go to www.wdwig.com in order to look at various menus.

If you're looking at something inside the park, our family's never been disappointed with Chefs du France (although there will inevitably be kids there). You may want to take a look at restaurants on The Boardwalk. I've never eaten there, but I've been told that Spoodles is quite good on the Boardwalk.
