:confused3So, my wife and I are going to Disney for 7 nights and 8 days. We recently added the 7th night, so now I need to add another dinner. It will be our last dinner there, so I am looking for something good! At this point, it is too dangerous to "move" any of our other reservations as we could lose them...Here is where we are so far (we are on the regular dining plan):

1st night: GF Cafe' (we are staying at the GF and after a 10 hour drive that day, just seems easy) 1 meal each
2nd night: Yahtsman Steakhouse (our wedding anniversary and we loe the place) 2 meals each
3rd night: Coral Reef. 1 meal each
4th night: Mama Melrose (fantasmic package) 1 meal each
5th night: Teppan Edo. 1 meal each
6th night: Via Napoli (paying out of pocket)
7th night: ????

So, who has some suggestions? I am open to another possible "2 meal" dinner, and paying out of pocket for Mama Melrose, but it would REALLY have to be worth it. Other than that...Liberty Tree Tavern? Crystal Palace? 50's diner? Have not been to any other places to eat there so need some help!

boma or ohana. Jiko or Flying Fish for 2ts

We are doing Ohana for our last night dinner ... never been but looking forward to it!

We have done 50s PTD before (and are doing it this trip too) and really like it!

I guess I'd say to go with Sanaa for 1 TS credit or Jiko for 2 TS credits. Seems like you don't have much in the way of Animal Kingdom time planned, judging by your dinner locations, so they would be good dinner picks if you would like to get some hours logged in that park.

This is especially true considering that Animal Kingdom closes at 5:00 PM, just in time for dinner.

I thought Coral Reef was a 2-credit meal! I may be wrong, but you might want to check. I would put a vote in for 50's or O'hana's!

Thanks for the suggestions so far.

According to the disney website, Coral Reef is only one meal....I hope it has not changed.

I have always had a great time, and great food, at 50's Prime Time Cafe. The cast members and setting make it fun. I love the fried chicken for an entree and smores for dessert!

Yes, Coral Reef is only 1 TS. Many, many years ago it was 2.

I'm a little concerned about locations. Arrival night at the resort makes lots of sense, although with the monorail it's just about as easy to eat at any of the monorail resort restaurants. Then you have 1 meal in DHS, 3 meals in Epcot, and 1 meal at an Epcot-area resort. Nothing at/near AK, nothing at/near MK. I know Epcot has lots of good restaurants, but I'd pick that last restaurant with an eye to convenience too.

If you are going to AK your last day I really like both Yak&Yeti in AK itself and Boma at AKL, which is just a 5 minute bus ride away.

If you are going to MK your last day I would try for an Ohana ADR but if you can not get it I would not take a chance on walk-up, ESPECIALLY for your last dinner. You want it to be special in a GOOD way, not a 3-hour wait.

Would you consider a Signature for your last night? Both Cali Grill and Narcoossees give you the possibility of a fireworks view (as does Ohana) for a little extra magic. Or to HDDR for the show! To make the dining credits work out, your best bet would be to pay oop for the arrival night dinner, or just eat CS that night (nothing says Disney like a Dole Whip, right? And you can get that as your dessert next door at Capt Cook at the Poly for a CS credit).

Or do something completely different. Have you ever been to Bob Jackson's show at POR? Free, although you do need to order a beverage (can be a soda pop, even) to sit at one of the tables in the main lounge. If it is a night he is appearing (I *think* Wed - Sun but check to be sure), schedule dinner at Boatwrights in time to be finished before he starts at 8:30 pm. Crazy fun!

My husband and I just returned from a trip in April. Our last night's dinner was at Citricos. It was AWESOME. We then took the monorail over to Polynesian and walked down to the beach and watch the fireworks...it was awesome! We paid out of pocket when we ate at Mama Melrose(we love that place) and it was not too expensive at all. That saved us for our very expensive 2 credit CITRICOS! The chef was a great guy too!
