Hi everyone.

This is my first trip to WDW. Going Oct 2 - 9. I would LOVE to see the fireworks while having dinner/dessert, etc (as would my 7 year old).

What restaurants would be best for ADR?

Thanks for the info.

This forum has been a godsend!!!

You can have a dinner and fireworks experience from several restaurants, but I usually book the California Grill when we're going to have smaller kids in the party. You can book an earlier dinner (closer to regular meal time for the kids) at California Grill, and then come back later when it's time for fireworks (9-10-11pm, depending on time of year and park schedule) and show your receipt, and they will gladly sweep you back upstairs to the restaurant's private viewing area to watch the show.

Narcoossee's at the grand floridian is a nice restaurant (2) table services We take our children there and during the fire works they will suspend your service so that you can watch the fireworks inside or outside the music is piped in so you can hear it also

Ditto - a friend of mine, who manages a local restaurant, plans a visit there every year with his wife and two young children. The servers are very good about putting in your order so you have your apps first and your entrees come out after the fireworks.

Also we have been seated on the patio at Rose and Crown to see Illuminations. Narcoossee's was a very nice place to watch Wishes from the porch. Your seated view inside the restaurant might be limited.

Sorry for the hijack but would it be ok to bring 2 little ones into California Grill for late dinner and firework viewing? We have a 4 yo and 1.5 yo (both accustomed to dinners out)

would it be best to book a dinner around 7ish then walk around till fireworks (10pm)

At none of these places are you guaranteed a table with a fireworks view.
