Dinner dilemma - akershus vs coral reef!

Hi there - I have made ADR's for akershus for our first night... we have two DD's -3.5 and 1.5. they aren't princess fanatics by any means but they like them well enough.

I thought it would be more disney-ish to have a character meal the first night, but now am wondering if we should change to coral reef???

Quite honestly I am most concerned about the kids being entertained so DH and I can eat

It will be our only TS meal at epcot.

if you want princesses, go to akershus... if you want good food, go to coral reef... if you want a combo of characters and good food, try garden grill

Not sure if you have seen the price increase for Akershus or not. Based on that. I would go to Coral Reef or Garden Grill. (can't help it, I like the rotating restaurant )

Thanks guys!!!! I changed it to Garden Grill at the same time. I don't know why, but I never really noticed this restaurant before somehow. I don't even remember reading about it or anything when we were there 2 years ago. It is perfect because we are doing future world that night, we wanted a character meal for the first night, and my girls really prefer animal characters to princesses anyhow. Plus we are doing PPP during our trip so they will get their princess time in anyhow.

good choice... i don't think you will be disappointed! and there's something about seeing the "big cheese" on your first night that sets the tone for the vacation... enjoy
