I have read lots of good things about city walk resturants but nothing about the ones in the resorts. Are there any resort Resturants that are a must eat at or should we stick to City Walk?

many threads have raved about the food places in the hotels on site.

it's usually the place where i plan on eating regularly.

For a casual meal, The Kitchen at the Hard Rock is excellent. And for a fine dining experience, Bice at Portofino has some of the best Italian food in Central Florida.

at rpr, i like jakes as it stays open to 1:00 am.
they have a great steak sandwich which goes well late at night.
and, at times, if you want something that is not listed on the menu, they will make it for you.

if it is after midnight and i have an appetite, i can get a pizza at jakes to take back to my room.
the one i love has not been on the menu for a couple of years but if i request it, they will make it for me.
pineapple, bacon and pepperoni for toppings.

bula bar has bar type of food or the type of food when someone gets the munchies...
island dining room has a great breakfast buffet, so doe the kitchen at hrh.
both are great and have chefs man the stations.
kitchen also has a variety on the dinner menus.

islands opens at 7 each morning.
also makes it easy to hit early entry for the parks.

island has a make your own dinner set up with the meats/chicken and veggies on certain nights and hours.
woks are at the front table with the chefs and you create your own dinner based on the items available.

for a quick breakfast anytime as of 6 am, orchid court lounge at rpr is ala cart.
it's fast and easy in order to do early entry in the parks.

i'm not into italian food so can't say much about pbr except Sals does have decent hand food.

i'm at the parks for 13 nights so i do a lot at rpr for meals.
i don't repeat a meal twice exept for the breakfast at islands.
lots of variety to chose from.

for the parks, i hit blondies for home made sandwiches.
louis for the pizza and salad.

Bice or Mama Dellas at Portofino Bay are fantastic ( not cheap though)
For counter service, we love Sals Marketplace Pizza at Portofino Bay
