Dinner: California Grill or Narcoossees?

My fiance and I are getting married at Disney in March, and the night before our wedding we are having a dinner with our parents. We are debating whether to eat at Narcoossees or California Grill. We have never eaten at either. My fiance isn't a big seafood fan, but I know that Narcoossees has plenty of options for him (as long as they have some sort of steak he is fine). I was wondering if you could help us decide. Thanks!!

I like Cali Grill much better than Narcoossee's. I didn't think Narcoossee's was worth the signature status. It was just ok, whereas CG is usually great.

Congratulations on getting married

I prefer Narcoossee's. It's more intimate and the food is better. We've been to CG three times and we've walked away disappointed every time, so we won't go back. Yes, the view is amazing but it's always SUPER crowded and loud. If you want to see the fireworks, you can view those at either place.

Thanks for those opinions! The fireworks view doesn't matter, we are having a dessert party afterwards, so we will watch Wishes from the Grand Floridian. I will have to check out your dining review!

I would definitely say California Grill! We have been numerous times and never disapointed. We went to Narcoossee's on out last trip and while it was good (great service) we jsut felt it lackingt compared to California Grill in food and ambience.

We've eaten at Narcoosee's twice and CG once. I would definitely recommend CG over Narcoosee's. Our meal was so excellent that it will definitely be on our list to do again and again!

CG is far superior to Narcoosses. The food espcially the sushi was fanstastic and the views are the best in all of WDW.

We've been to CG many times and all the times we loved it. It is one of our favorite restaurants on property. Plus the view from the top floor is just awesome. We haven't eaten at Narcoossees yet, but do plan on it for our May trip. Good luck with whatever you decide and congrats on your upcoming marriage

Hands down California Grill. The food is outstanding and the service is much better than Narcoossees. Plus the setting is much nicer. Narcoossees is good. A better option would be Citricos for the day before your wedding, I would pick that over Narcoossees, their food & service are very good.

Cali Grill was incredible, DH is not a fish eater (loves shellfish) but he really enjoyed the filet and pork tenderloin from CG

We like both but love Narcoossees. If we coudl only pick one it would be Narcoossees but it would be a huge decision to make.

We think Cali Grill is more businessy, more big room, loud, more something...???

We think Narcoossees is more cosey, quieter (now don't mistake that with quiet though), smaller, darker, romantic (if that's what one were looking for)...

We weill be hitting both on our next trip...

I really enjoyed Narcoossees. The surf and turf was amazing, and I really liked the ambiance of the restaurant - very cosy and inviting.

Another vote for Narcoosee's. We went to both on our last trip and were extremely disappointed by Cali Grill. However, our server was HORRIBLE so that played a big part in it. But, when we go back it will be to Narcoosee's.

Just did both... I would say California Grill. We were in the wine room which was much quieter than the main eating area.

I'd pick CA Grill between the two, though it doesn't wow me as much as it once did.
