dinner before Thurs Dec 16 Illuminations

We have a party of 8-4 adults, kids-11.5,12,10,6.5. Going to Illuminations as noted. We have enjoyed San Angel and Akershus in the past in fact our Jan 2004 trip. Ate at Biergarten last in 91, took a peek in January and thought it looked ok and better than in 91. Last time we ate @ Cape May was 1996 and concluded it was so-so, but kids were young and it was a tough day, so maybe we didn't really get a fair experience.

What do y'all think and why?

We like the Cape May Clam Bake, ALOT.

Havent been to Norway or Germany.

We really really really do not like the San Angel Inn.

I voted for San Angel. Like your family, I enjoy it.

But which ever you choose, be sure to see the Candlelight Processional...it is absolutely wonderful!

If you choose to dine somewhere in EPCOT, you could book the CP dinner package. Besides dinner, it includes guaranteed seating for the Processional.

I didn't vote - don't like your choices. Except Cape May but you didn't like it last time so I thought perhaps you might not want to try it again. There are so many restaurants to pick from. If I were going to pick something at World Showcase I would pick between Chefs de France, Le Cellier, or Alfredos. But that's just my taste I guess.

However, why not expand the options to include boardwalk area restaurants like Spoodles, Flying Fish, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Blue Zoo, Fresh, Shulas. Lots of choices in the area. We loved Blue Zoo - fantastic food!

Spoodles is kind of fun. Flying Fish is great. Love the Yachtsman Steakhouse - haven't tried Fresh or Shulas.

And to be cheap but at the same time to get a delicious meal, I might suggest Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club. Best burger on property. Your kids will love it. You all can split a Kitchen Sink.
