dinner before Spectro our first night

I had made ADRs for Boatwright's the night we arrive because I thought we'd be tired (especially DS 6), but that is the only night we'd be able to see Spectromagic. I really want to see it, but i'm worried about cancelling our ADR. Any recommendations about where we might try to get another ADR for an early supper before Spectro at 7 on Nov. 26? Should we just wing it and eat at a counter service place?
We've never been to Disney, so any advice is really appreciated.

Try Crystal Palace -- Great buffet and the Pooh family of characters. Step outside and you can see SpectroMagic

I would also recommend the Crystal Palace. It's a buffet character meal and takes approximately 1 1/4 hour to see all the characters and eat your meal. It is located very near Main Street so you should be able to get a good spot to watch the parade.

If you can't get in to Crystal Palace, try the Plaza Restaurant. It is also located on Main Street. This is a table service restaurant that serves mostly sandwiches but they are good.

Advice from the local:

do not miss SpectroMagic, cancel the ADR (boatwrights... not so hot)
go to Cosmic Rays before the parade and get a table by the wall, that way if the little one is not too tired afterwards just walk over to Main Street. If the babe is too tired you just sit and watch the parade from there and then leave.

You can do CS at MK. Alot of the prior suggestions are great. We have watched Spectro many times while eating a hot dog from Caseys or an ice cream from the Main Street Ice Cream Parlor. If this is the only time it is showing during your vacation it is worth it to go. Wishes is at 8:00 that night and you should stay for that also.
