Going back to the World in Sept. I have never seen Illuminations so it is a must do for this trip and I am trying to decide when I want to eat. I am thinking LaCellier ( never been here either) so I need some expert opinions on what time to try to eat and a good place to get for the show. Thanks

Margaret

For LeCellier, I'd go for a 6:30 time or earlier.

Your meal should take an hour at the least and a hour and a half at the most. So you'd be out of there by 8:00 at the latest. That's plenty of time to find a good spot anywhere along World Showcase.

For Illuminations viewing (my favorite nighttime Disney show), we prefer Germany. It's at the back of the park so not a lot of people want to be back there after the show.

You could also consider dinner at a restaurant at one of the Epcot resorts (Flying Fish, Spoodles, Yachtsman Steakhouse are all good ones) and then walk over to Epcot afterwards to see Illuminations (which is wonderful). There are lots of great places to watch from. Just find a place along the lagoon about 1/2 hour before the show and you will be all set.

Make sure you are not downwind from the center of the lagoon, and that your view of the lagoon center is not obstructed.
