Dinner before Halloween party

I’m going end of August. I will be attending Halloween party. Will I be able to make 6pm CRT reservation (providing I can snag one!). Do the restaurants stay open?

CRT should be open, but do you really want to have a 6pm reservation on party night? If you want to eat there on your party night, I would do no later than a 5 so that you're done well before the official 7pm party start.

so it seem as though reservations from 6 pm and on require MNSSHP tickets. does that mean i can attempt to get 5 pm reservation through the regular disney dining reservation system? also, are halloween party tickets even available 180 days prior to make 6 pm reservations through that system?

You can enter the park starting at 4. We do ts lunch on party days then something fast later. Hate to waste party time in a restaurant

Tickets don't usually go on sale until mid-May. You don't need tickets in-hand to make an ADR, but you'll need a ticket to actually eat during the designated party times. So, I would try to make the ADR of your choice at 180 days prior and then buy your tickets when they go on sale.
